Thrive Full Body Wellness was established in 2017 by Seth Camhi, MD, MBA and Angel Mesa, LVN to provide full spectrum medical care. Our mission is to help the patients we serve reach their personal health care goals. We accomplish this by focusing on wellness and providing a wide array of services which includes:

Dr. Camhi is a Board Certified Family Physician with additional training in Sports Medicine. He started his medical training at Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara and completed it at New York Medical College. He did his Family Medicine Residency through the Institute for Family Health at the Kingston Hospital in Kingston, New York. After residency, he completed his Fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. He practices full spectrum family medicine and specializes in non-operative care of sports injuries and ultrasound-guided injections.
Dr. Camhi is a Voluntary Clinical Instructor at University of California, San Diego and at Touro College of Pharmacy, New York. In these roles, he participates in the training of pharmacy students, medical students, residents and fellows. He is also involved with the Southwest Sports Wellness Foundation. He is on the Advisory Board and assists them with their nonprofit mission to support young athletes and medical professionals in the South Bay by providing physical, mental and emotional developmental training programs. In addition, he is involved with PIMA Medical Institute and Kaplan College as a Voluntary Clinical Preceptor to assist in the training of medical assistants.
Dr. Camhi is originally from Jericho, New York. Since moving to San Diego, Dr. Camhi has covered UCSD Athletics, Southwestern College Athletics, and has worked with both the San Diego Chargers and the San Diego Sockers. He has been involved with providing medical coverage to many local events including the Rock n’ Roll Marathon, the Thunderboat races and many other local sporting events. He is currently the Team Physician for Olympian High School as well as the San Diego Growlers and assists with running an injury clinic on Saturday mornings in the South Bay to care for injured high school athletes.
Dr. Camhi in his free time enjoys playing and watching sports and spending time with his wife and four children (his oldest Max and his triplets – Sarah, Leah and Luke).
